What does NexGard Spectra Spot-On for cats cover? Boehringer Ingelheim's page states it treats and prevents flea infestations for at least 5 weeks, treats and controls paralysis tick, bush tick and brown dog tick, mange and ear mites, roundworms, hookworms, tapeworms and lungworms, and prevents heartworm disease, applied monthly.
Which applicator? The maker lists a 0.3 mL applicator for cats 0.8 to 2.4 kg and a 0.9 mL applicator for 2.5 to 7.5 kg; cats over 7.5 kg use a combination of applicators.
From what age? Boehringer Ingelheim states from 8 weeks of age and at least 0.8 kg, and describes it as safe for breeding, pregnant and lactating queens.
