Flea, tick and worming questions
How long does Bravecto Plus last? Bravecto Plus is sold as 3 months of flea and tick protection, as the pack states: MSD Animal Health's page says fleas are killed within 12 hours for 3 months and paralysis ticks for about 10 weeks. MSD's page also directs re-applying every 2 months where continuous heartworm prevention is needed, so check the label for the interval that applies to your cat.
What does it cover? Fleas, paralysis tick, bush tick, heartworm prevention, roundworm and hookworm (single treatment) and ear mites, according to the maker's page, which also lists reduction of flea allergy dermatitis.
From what age? MSD states kittens over 9 weeks of age weighing at least 1.2 kg.
