Feeding questions
Who is Eggs 4 Sure for? A complete vegetarian layer mash with grits included, formulated for Hy-Line Brown, Lohmann Brown and ISA Brown hens during lay, in a mash form birds of all ages can eat.
Can I still feed scratch and scraps? Yes, as treats: Barastoc's guide is grain treats under 10 percent of the daily diet (about 13 g for a hen eating 130 g), and Laucke says to restrict scraps and grass to prevent nutritional imbalances.
