Laucke Alpaca Blend is a 20 kg mix of grains and pellets coated in molasses and vegetable oil, formulated for growing and lactating alpacas and llamas and also suitable as a maintenance diet.
- Analysis as fed: 11.3 MJ per kg metabolisable energy, protein min 15.0 percent, fat min 3.0 percent, fibre max 10.0 percent
- Includes a rumen buffer at 1.0 percent, and added salt to a maximum of 1.2 percent
- Vitamins A, D3 and E, plus a full macro and trace mineral profile
- Does not contain restricted animal material
Blend generally makes up 10 to 75 percent of total daily feed intake. Introduce gradually and avoid sudden changes to the diet, keep roughage available at all times, and feed in a way that slows the rate of eating as alpacas and llamas are prone to choking.
