Flints Medicated Oil is a 500 mL topical preparation for horses, cattle and sheep. Active ingredient: cresol BP 30 g per litre. Presentation is a brown coloured liquid with a characteristic phenolic odour.
- Cresol BP is widely used as a disinfectant and bactericide for wounds, cuts and abrasions
- Registered to assist with the healing of cuts, wounds and galls
- Applied as directed it prevents the formation of excess granulation tissue, known as proud flesh, particularly on the lower limbs of horses
- Repels flies from the wound site and leaves a protective film on the healing wound
For topical application only. Carefully wash or clean any discharge from around the wound and allow it to dry, ensure the wound is free from water, then apply with a spray or cotton wad three times a day. Read the label before use.
