Berg Oil is a traditional oral preparation for horses, cattle and sheep supplied in a 250mL pack. Active constituents per 50 mL: Stockholm tar 36.5 mL, gum turpentine 6.5 mL and methylated spirits 7.0 mL.
- Combination of wood tars, turpentine oils and methylated spirits
- Reported to control excessive fermentation in the gut
- Taken orally it does not irritate the mucous membranes of the mouth and digestive tract
Administration: pour the dose on the rear of the tongue and hold the head raised briefly to ensure it is swallowed. Cattle and horses 50 mL, sheep 15 mL. Read the label before use.
