The Farm Balance Dry Cow block is a 15 kg lick block formulated to supplement dry dairy cows with minerals during the dry period and build reserves prior to calving, as an aid in the prevention of milk fever. This version is medicated with Rumensin, the Elanco brand of monensin sodium.

The manufacturer states this block is not suitable for beef cattle, sheep, horses, goats or deer. Monensin is toxic to horses, other equids and dogs and can be fatal. Keep away from these species and follow the current product label.
