Equinade Pure Stockholm Tar 2L

Equinade Pure Stockholm Tar is made from 100 percent pure genuine Swedish pine tar, supplied in a 2 L pack. Equinade states that since the 1400s the best tar in the world has come from the dense pine forests around Stockholm in Sweden, and that Equinade packs this pine tar in its purest form.

Equinade warns that substitute materials are sometimes marketed as Stockholm Tar but should not be used on animals, because the substitute is a residue of charcoal production containing hazardous chemicals and up to 22 percent water, and coal tar substitutes contain benzopyrene. Equinade states the product may be used daily, and its published direction is to replace the lid after use to keep the container airtight. Equinade also recommends regular veterinary checks to monitor your horse and advise on the most appropriate care.
