EAC osmo-lyte active is an electrolyte supplement with B group vitamins for horses, from EAC Animal Care. It is a separate product from the plain osmo-lyte in the same range.
- Per kg: sodium 205 g, chloride 375 g, potassium 67 g, magnesium 17 g, calcium 33 g and phosphorus 22 g
- Also per kg: betaine 83 g, choline 5000 mg, vitamin A 80,000 IU, vitamin C 16,666 mg and vitamin E 1666 mg
- Feeding rate per 500 kg horse: 30 g a day at maintenance, 60 g for moderate activity and 90 g for intense activity. One scoop is 30 g
- EAC publishes this product in 1.5 kg, 5 kg and 20 kg pouches
