CopRice Premium Layer Pellet is a complete pelleted feed for laying hens, supplied in a 20 kg bag. It is based on rice and rice bran blended with other quality ingredients.

  • High quality protein with a balanced amino acid profile
  • A source of linoleic acid, an omega 6 fatty acid, from rice bran
  • High calcium levels with an optimum calcium to phosphorus ratio for eggshell quality and bone strength
  • Fortified with vitamins, minerals and trace elements

Feed to laying hens from point of lay. Free range birds may eat less because they also forage. Provide cool, clean water at all times.

Feeding questions

What makes Premium Layer different? CopRice bases it on rice and rice bran, at 16 percent protein with linoleic acid from rice bran and what CopRice describes as high calcium with an optimum calcium to phosphorus ratio for eggshell quality and bone strength.

How much per hen per day? Barastoc's expected adult intake for a complete layer feed is 120 to 130 g per bird per day, fed without restriction, with clean water always available. A 20 kg bag is roughly 160 hen-days.
