Ironamax is a 120mL oral solution containing a high concentration of organo-chelated iron for horses.
- Constituents per mL: ferric ammonium citrate BP 250 mg, elemental iron 50 mg, copper as glycinate 470 micrograms and cobalt as acetate 19 micrograms
- Also supplies lysine hydrochloride 25 mg, racemethionine 20 mg and glycine 25 mg per mL
- Dosage: 6 mL to 12 mL daily, increasing to 20 mL daily for horses with a high iron requirement
The manufacturer states that the Instamax range does not produce a positive swab and that no withdrawal period is required. For oral use only. Read the label before use.
