Hippiron is a sterile injectable iron solution for the treatment of iron deficiency anaemia in horses, including anaemia due to parasitism, poor nutrition or haemorrhage.

  • Active: iron (Fe) 20mg per mL as a ferric hydroxide sucrose compound
  • Registered for use in horses
  • Dosage by intravenous injection: foals 10mL per week, adults and yearlings 20mL per week
  • 20mL vial. Store below 25 degrees C, protect from light, do not refrigerate
